Hello Cross Prairie Families and Community,
As we move closer to the midpoint of the first marking period, I would like to share that our teachers, students, and staff have made tremendous strides in beginning the new school year. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to learning have helped establish a strong foundation for success.
We recently completed Progress Monitoring #1, and the results will be used to plan upcoming lessons, engage students in meaningful conversations about their academic progress, and review instructional strategies to ensure we are meeting the needs of all learners. This data provides valuable insights that help us continue to improve teaching and learning across our school.
I would also like to take a moment to remind everyone that one of our School Improvement Goals is for teachers to foster a positive learning environment. At Cross Prairie K-8, we are committed to creating classrooms where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to take academic risks. Students are positively recognized and redirected in accordance with our school-wide expectations, helping them develop the skills necessary to be successful both in and out of the classroom.
Evidence of a positive learning environment can be seen in the respectful relationships between students and staff, the strong sense of belonging within our classrooms, and the creation of safe, risk-free learning communities where all students are valued and empowered to grow. Together, we will continue to build a culture that promotes academic achievement, character development, and a love of learning.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we work together to ensure success for every student.
